V-Marketplace Event Kitchen
The V-Marketplace Event Pavilion naturally needed a new state-of the-art event kitchen for guest chefs, food service for events and receptions, and food preparation for Vintage Inn and the Villagio Inn and Spa. Under the watchful eye of Paul Kelley Architecture, a new building was constructed at the rear of the property, facing Highway 29. It was designed to be harmonious and complementary to the pavilion, but also to remain visually subordinate to adjacent historic winery structures. Kelley used brick pilasters and cornices with arch-top windows to hint at the historic without emulating it. Visitors to the area may catch a glimpse of the beautiful tucked-away building while driving along the highway or traversing the adjacent bicycle/walking trail.
