HealthQuest Fitness CenterPaul Kelley worked with the owners of an existing health club in Napa on what began as the addition of a locker room and aerobics studio. It grew to a 30,000-square-foot redesign, remodel and expansion for a state-of-art center that incorporated yoga and cardio/spin studios, new locker rooms, expanded cardio theaters and weight floor, child and pre-teen care facilities, reception, offices and a juice bar. Outside, Kelley designed a new façade for the existing building, as well as a site reconstruction with a new "green" parking area with trees, drought-resistant planning and a continuous bioswale for site-water retention and filtering. As the design architect, Kelley shepherded his clients through the use-permitting and design-review processes, resulting in a seamless, low-stress project — and a rather impressive health-club facility.renderings by Pechara.com
